We got Started by getting Screwed
Greg, who you will see below, owned a restaurant and had ambitions to expand his business with a food truck. He saw an opportunity to grow with a mobile version of this brick-and-mortar. However, his experience holds a valuable lesson that has befallen countless others in similar situations.
Despite his success in the restaurant industry, Greg was relatively unfamiliar with the world of food trucks. When the opportunity arose to purchase a used truck for what seemed like a bargain price of $30,000, he seized it, thinking he had stumbled upon the deal of a lifetime. Regrettably, his excitement quickly turned to disappointment as the harsh reality set in.
In the following months, Greg faced a series of challenges and unforeseen expenses. He had to invest an additional $35,000 just to make the food truck functional, taking his total investment from $30,000 to $65,000. This included essential mechanical repairs, the acquisition of additional equipment and ensuring his truck was up to code in his county. And this is how Overhill was born, out of the necessity to build our own food trucks with quality in mind without ripping off our customers.
Greg's experience underscores the importance of being well-informed and making informed decisions. He had to learn the hard way that lacking knowledge in a specific domain can lead to unfavorable outcomes.
He needed an established and reputable business to help him succeed.

Meet the Team
Jason | Owner
He has 30+ years in the automotive world, building and restoring cars. He is a builder and craftsman at heart. Built the Pub Peddler during his spare time. He owns and operates Overhill and Bob’s Automotive.
Grigor | Owner
He also has an automotive background, in addition to being a restaurant owner. He juggles his time owning and operating Overhill and Greg’s Auto. His BBQ restaurant The Prized Pig is well known locally, including his BBQ trailer which is seen at events year round.
Elwin | Sales & Marketing
He has been involved in start-ups for over a decade, including launching a couple of his own businesses. He is the Sales Manager at Overhill overseeing all of the sales & marketing and works closely with Jason and Greg.
Vadim | Head Builder
